What We Do
We work directly with people and communities through practical housing and community interventions.
Who We Are
We Believe Housing Can Change What Is Possible.
A decent home can provide stability. It can strengthen a family. It can create a foundation for opportunity.
And when housing is connected to infrastructure, sustainability and community wellbeing, it can contribute to stronger communities. Housing for Humanity International exists to make that possibility more accessible.
HOHI is positioned as a hybrid housing and human-development organisation — not simply a charity that builds houses, and not simply an advocacy organisation. We combine direct action, innovation and influence to address housing from multiple dimensions.
What We Develop
We research and test better approaches to affordable, sustainable and scalable housing.
What We Influence
We engage governments, industry, researchers and other stakeholders around the policies, partnerships and systems that shape housing access.
What We Believe
Housing is more than shelter. It is a foundation for dignity, stability and opportunity. Our work is therefore centred on the people and communities behind the housing challenge.
